Welcome to Zion Baptist Church's Genevieve N. Johnson Senior Day Care Center ("GNJ Center"), an esteemed Adult Day Care Center nestled within the heart of Washington, D.C. Located at 4817 Blagden Avenue, N.W., in the cherished Family Life Center of Zion Baptist Church, we have been dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors and providing unwavering support to caregivers for over four decades.
With a steadfast commitment to excellence, GNJ Center is honored to offer a comprehensive range of high-quality day care services designed to meet the unique needs of our esteemed senior community. Through a generous annual grant graciously provided by the DC Department of Aging and Community Living (DCAL), we extend vital opportunities for recreation, socialization, and essential care.
As the new Ward 4 lead agency, GNJ Center proudly provides essential services, including:

2023-2024 Accomplishments
Situated in the vibrant Ward Four of the District of Columbia, GNJ Center stands as a beacon of compassion, serving residents aged sixty years and beyond, primarily in Ward Four and Ward Five. However, we warmly welcome seniors from all Eight Wards, recognizing that every individual, regardless of their residence, deserves the exceptional care and support we offer.
Ward Four boasts the third highest concentration of seniors in the District of Columbia, a testament to the thriving community that surrounds us. This reinforces our belief in the critical importance of our mission, and fuels our dedication to providing unparalleled care to each and every individual who walks through our doors.
